Name: Wade Wilson aka Deadpool Door: Dominant doorpass...! Canon: Marvel 616 Canon Point: Deadpool 2016 #18 Age: mid-late 30s Appearance: you asked for it :') History: wiki Personality: THE GOOD ⤠ Social and outgoing - the guy loves to talk and loves attention ⤠ Intelligent - he acts like an idiot about 90% of the time but that's mostly an act, one he'll drop when it isn't working for him anymore. He's surprisingly competent when he really needs to be, and like him or not a large portion of the mask community knows it's best to avoid being in direct opposition to him if at all possible. ⤠ Physically skilled and resilient - his only actual 'power' is the regeneration; his skills and strength were all earned the old-fashioned way, proving him capable of hunkering down and getting shit done. ⤠ Kind of funny sometimes :') - subjective, but he seems to think he's just hilarious. There's an almost constantly present undercurrent of self-deprecation to his joking around, and it's pretty much an open secret that it's a defense mechanism. He doesn't exactly try to hide that, either. ⤠ Heroic - it may not be all the time, and his motivation may not always be 100% Rogers-Certified pure, but Wade has his moments and is very much capable of doing the right thing for the right reasons, and when he's able he really does try his best. Even with all of his problems (self-imposed or otherwise), the guy always gets back up. THE BAD ⤠ Mouthy & annoying - he loves to talk... and loves attention. Depending on the situation it can be either endearing-annoying or annoying-annoying. ⤠ Lewd - he does like to make lewd comments, especially if he gets the sense that it'll push buttons or get a rise out of someone. ⤠ Flippant - again with the constant joking. When he's serious about something he's very, very serious, but his threshold for Serious Business is a lot higher than most people's. ⤠ Violent - goofiness aside, Deadpool is a legitimate contract killer, and even when he's actively trying not to kill people (like he is at his canon point), he doesn't have too much of a problem leaving lasting damage. ⤠ Tryhard as all fuck - though he excels at fucking up spectacularly, the fact remains that he wants to be liked and the part of his behavior that isn't driven by survival is motivated by that desire. He also wants to be 'good' but isn't entirely clear on what that means in relation to him, and that gets him into trouble more often than not. THE UGLY ⤠ Hilariously easy to manipulate - if someone knows what cards to play, Wade is prime puppet material. He's been tricked into doing quite a few things by his (mostly) well-meaning but misguided attempts to be one of the good guys, not least because his desire to be liked for being good tends to outweigh his desire to do good. ⤠ Selfish and attention seeking - kind of goes along with the general tryhard-ness, and feeds into how easy he can be to control. ⤠ Morally unstable - Wade's sense of right and wrong is a bit... Off, even at the best of times, and he's fairly easily influenced by the environment and the people around him; he's at his best when he's confronted with the lines he absolutely won't cross, though he's capable of walking the straight and narrow with (constant) reinforcement from certain kinds of people. At his best he probably reaches just sub-Robin Hood levels of morality- he often neglects to cash checks for the jobs he's done, or donates the money wherever he sees fit... But the fact remains that he probably killed or maimed someone for that money, so... (shrug emoji) it evens out. Kind of. ⤠ Impulsive/reckless to the point of endangering himself and others - he can be meticulous, but he's just as likely to ignore/not fully consider the consequences of his actions. This typically manifests more in relationships than anywhere else. ⤠ Self-destructive... Just destructive in general, really - Wade's life and relationships tend to follow a traceable pattern, which involves a good deal of self-sabotage. To say he has self-esteem issues is an understatement, but it can be hard to tell if his fucking up is intentional, or just because he doesn't know how to be anything other than dysfunctional. Either way, when things go to shit he inevitably alienates the people closest to him. Powers and Abilities: ⤠ Healing Factor ⤠ Wade is able to heal/regenerate from any injury including being 'killed'. Open to going over specifics and/or capping this, I'm easy. ⤠ Punchy Kicky Stabby Shooty ⤠ He's proficient in just about every kind of martial art and with the use of most weapons, though swords and firearms are what he's most familiar with. ⤠ Languages ⤠ Fluent in English, Spanish, Japanese, German, and Esperanto. ⤠ Other ⤠ Capable of using found materials to make explosives.
